General What motivates you to listen to radio?

What would you say motivates you to listen at times? I like listening to shout outs, I find it cute. Listeners will put a call through to the program and make a shout out to their loved ones. Then they will accompany it with nice songs.
Then I listen to news in the morning when I commute to work as well.

Every morning I have to spend an hour commuting to work. I am one that likes being abreast with news and current happenings in the locality. So instead of reading and scrolling endlessly i just tune in to news stations and listen, while on my way to work.

I like the spontaneous music on the music specific stations. I find it really cool and emotional when listeners request for songs as a shoutout their loved ones.
